About Me
Having to learn to walk again was nothing compared to having to learn how to re-establish my emotional wellbeing, stamina, and confidence. Luckily, when I could stand on my own two feet, I joined an Art Group and illustrated a book after the author saw my work in a magazine. It was the best thing I could have done, and I have never looked back. I now teach that group regularly.
As a lifelong artist, designer, and psychologist I believe that art, creativity and having fun are essential to our wellbeing. I am also enthusiastic about doing art well, understanding your own narrative, and producing something that works for you. With this philosophy in mind, I successfully teach and coach a range of people with varying experience and ability.

Below is a small selection of my own art. I do not currently take commissions, but will shortly be opening an online gallery with a chance to buy limited edition prints. You can sign up for my monthly newsletter and get the first chance to see this, plus other exciting developments.
I'm dyslexic and maybe that's why I did not enjoy Maths A-Level, so I decided not to do it and did my A-Level Art in a year instead. It was a great decision, and I was so happy to be in a studio doing arty things with arty people. It is still my happy place!
After my degree in Psychology (something I feel is intrinsically linked to art) I trained to be an Interior Designer and took off around the world, eventually becoming lead design on some important projects including the executive offices on the 51st floor of the Emirates Towers in Dubai.
At 35 I owned my own company and things were going great. At 41 I found myself in a hospital with full body paralysis.
